Buket Sisalan was selected 1st in the artistic category in the national team selections organized by the 2015 Turkish Bakers Association. They competed to be ranked in the Louis Lesaffre Cup Mediterranean-Africa Region International Selections between April 9-16, 2015. They competed against bakers from Algeria, Morocco, Ivory Coast and Mauritius in the international selections held at the Lesaffre Middle East and Central Asia Region Baking Center in Istanbul and came in first. Thus, they also earned the right to participate in the championship in Paris. She was deemed worthy of first place as the first female competitor to represent our country. This success was the turning point in her professional career. For the last 4 years, she has been working as a pastry and chocolate chef with the Catsi Chocolate brand within the DIRKALI Natural Mastic Gum and Products, in the form of R&D studies, special production and workshops.
